Line Items Overview - Payhub Documentation

Each line item on a deployment order represents one device. Line items are created and configured first, then provisioned — provisioning assigns a serial from inventory, writes the VAR sheet and equipment record, and stores the vendor terminal id the gateway returns.

Managing line items

List line items	Retrieve all line items on a deployment order
Create line item	Add a line item to a deployment order

Provisioning

Endpoint	Description
Save device	Assign the serial, VAR sheet, and equipment record in one transaction
Board and provision	Board the merchant on the model’s workflow and provision the device
Push parameters	Re-push a provisioned device’s parameters and POS menu to its gateway
Mint VAR sheet	Ask TSYS for a new terminal on an already-boarded merchant

Provisioning a device is not the same as re-pushing its parameters. Use Board and provision for a device that has not been activated yet, and Push parameters as the retry path when activation succeeded but the parameter push did not.
